The central Fountain represents the heart of Parliament and links the old and the new precincts together. It is here that the 19th century heritage foyers for the Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council meet the modern structures added throughout the years to serve NSW Parliament.
Throughout the year various art exhibits are displayed on the walls surrounding the Fountain. The space is open to the public from Monday to Friday between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. Visitors attending functions, tours or dining at Strangers’ Restaurant can also explore these art exhibits for free.
