Public Cafe

Open from 9:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, the Public Cafe is a great place for visitors to take a break and experience the unique atmosphere of Parliament House.

Located just beyond the Fountain Court, the cafe overlooks our beautiful atrium, and features a stunning collection of photographs by Max Dupain on the walls. And there are some fabulous treats to tempt you in, including high quality coffee and a range of in-house creations such as truffles, cakes, scones and slices devised by our celebrated Head Chef, David Learmonth. For those looking for something a little more substantial, hot meals will be served between 11:30am and 2:30pm.

The Cafe also includes the Parliamentary Gift Shop, where visitors can choose from a wide range of quality souvenirs to take home.

COST: Coffees from $3.80, pastries from $3.00, souvenirs from $11.00
