Bus travel

Buses run in Macquarie, Elizabeth and Castlereagh Streets. Route numbers 200, 309, 324, 325, 326, 327, 333, 339, 343, 373, 374, 376, 377, 380, 389, 391, 392, 394, 396, 397 and 399 service the area.

By bicycle

Bicycles may not be brought into Parliament House, nearby parking facilities include cycle rings along Macquarie Street, U-rail facilities at Town Hall and Cook + Phillip Park and bike cages at the Goulburn Street Parking Station.

Walking

The entrance to Parliament House is via the security gate house located on the State Library side of the building on Macquarie Street, find on Google Maps.

Accessibility Car Parking

People with a current Mobility Parking Scheme Permit visiting Parliament may arrange accessible parking, subject to availability on the day. All requests for parking must be made well in advance.
